Austin’s Sassy Strawberry will serve its last soft-serve frozen yogurt on Wednesday.
Ashley and Reed Kuper confirmed they’re closing their Austin Sassy Strawberry business at 803 18th Ave. NW, Suite No. 1 due to slow business.
“If they want the business to stay in town, they really should support them,” Ashley said.
Sassy Strawberry opened in November 2013 and was named was named New Business of the Year by the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce the following February.
The Kupers also opened three Iowa Sassy Strawberry locations in Waterloo, Fort Dodge and Burlington. Those three shops will remain open.
