The Athletics (0-3 overall) trailed 40-20 at halftime, but LP quarterback Brady Lester, who threw for 237 yards and three TDs in the first half, couldn’t play in the second half due to dehydration.
Jordan Cotter had 173 receiving yards and two TDs for LP and Daniel Bollingberg had 108 receiving yards and two TDs.
“We just got wore out,” LP head coach Jeremy Wilson said. “The heat and our lack of depth started to kick in that second half.”
