The city of Austin will be spraying for mosquitos this Monday.

This will be a ground application and spraying will start after 7 p.m. and continue throughout the night. The chemical that is used will not affect humans, animals or plants. The spray only kills the adult mosquito.

If it rains on the scheduled date, the city will spray for mosquitos on Tuesday.
