Mower County could be in for more heavy rain and storms starting tonight.

After a storm dumped more than an inch of rain in the area on Wednesday, the National Weather service is warming of that another storm system could bring heavy rains and high winds to southeast Minnesota overnight, and it could near severe levels.

Storms are again possible on Saturday morning and early afternoon, with the potential for high winds, heavy rain and hail.

The weather service is also warning that storms are possible periodically next week, but it’s too early to tell if they’ll be severe.
