The Austin eighth grade basketball team recently won the Minnesota Pacesetter state tournament by winning all three of their games and it will now play in the Great 4 State tournament in Target Center June 26-27. The team includes: Nor Deng, Noah Kaercher, Gavin Owens, Jackson Hollund, Conner Bryam, Dongrin Deng, Emanuel Younis, Jeremy Flores, LaHenry Gills and Mety Obang, Andrew Schumacher and Issac Kenyon. The team will hold a car wash fund-rasier at HyVee from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.
