The No. 5 seeded Lyle-Pacelli baseball team committed one too many miscues as it had its season end in a 4-3 loss to No. 8 Goodhue in a Section 1A West second place game in Dick Seltz Field Wednesday.

The Athletics (16-6 overall) committed six errors in the loss. An LP throwing error in the top of the sixth inning opened the door for the Wildcats to score three unearned runs in that frame to take a 4-3 lead.
