An Austin man accused of molesting a teenage girl pleaded not guilty to related charges Thursday in Mower County District Court.

Robert O’Hara, 39, faces two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to police reports, O’Hara allegedly molested the girl several years ago, when she was about 12 to 13, at his home in Austin. O’Hara’s wife told police she had no idea O’Hara had been molesting a teen.

The victim stopped going to O’Hara’s home in 2012 and never reported O’Hara until recently, when she found out O’Hara was in a relationship with a 17-year-old girl.

O’Hara denied molesting the victim but did admit he was seeing a 17-year-old, according to the court complaint.

O’Hara’s next court appearance is Aug. 14.
