The Austin boys golf team finished in second place in the Winona triangular Tuesday.

The Packers finished with a score of 347, Winona took first with a 333 and Rochester Century was third with a 390.

James Snee led the Packers with an 82, and four Austin golfers shot below a 90.

“Guys battled hard today and this is a very difficult course,” Austin head coach Matt Raso said. “There’s a lot of slope and there were wet conditions. I was pleased to see four scores under ninety. That’s a start.”
