Softball: Blossoms suffer first 3-game losing streak since 2006

The Blooming Prairie softball team lost 10-0 to Pine Island in five innings and 15-4 to Austin in six innings at the Austin Elks Invite in Todd Park Saturday.

The Awesome Blossoms (3-4 overall) have now lost three games in a row for the first time since 2006 and it is the first time they have had a losing record since 2005.

BP had to resort to its backup pitchers on Saturday as starter Elly Strunk was out of the lineup.
