The Austin softball team had a back and forth battle come to a tough ending when they lost 6-5 at Waseca (2-1 overall) Monday.

The game was tied at 5-5 in the bottom of the seventh and Waseca had the bases empty with two outs, but the Bluejays strung together a hit and a walk before Maddy Knoll blooped a walk-off single to win the game.

Austin (1-2 overall) scored three runs in the top of the first, but Waseca answered with three runs in the bottom of the first.
