The Lyle-Pacelli softball team lost 20-0 at Triton (3-5 overall) Monday.

The Athletics (0-5 overall), who played the game in rain, snow and ice, allowed 17 of the runs in the first and third innings.

Danielle Hinz took the loss for LP.

“Some of our players just haven’t caught up to the speed of varsity yet, but they don’t quit,” LP head coach Jeff Yocom said. “The teams [we play] don’t get any easier and these young girls will only get better.”
