Boy Scouts to hold camping event

Boys will get the chance to learn all about Boy Scouts Friday as they sleep under the stars.

On Friday, an introduction to Cub Scout camp will take place at the fairgrounds in Austin. This is a camp for kids that would like to find out more about camping and cub scouts. Campers will sleep over Friday night, watch a movie outdoors, roast hot dogs and have popcorn. It will finish Saturday morning by 9 a.m. This is a free event open to any boy interested in scouting. A parent must spend the night with their child. Questions can be directed to Eagle Scout Sam Hagan at 507-440-2682.
