There will be a tryout for boys interested in playing VFW baseball in Austin this summer 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 3 at Marcusen Park.

The tryout is open to Austin area boys who are 16 andunder as of June 1, 2015.  Ballplayers who are currently freshman and sophomores are eligible to tryout as long as they were born on or after June 1, 1998.

Registration will start at 10:30 a.m. There will be a nominal fee for playing VFW baseball, but scholarships can be provided upon request.
