The Austin boys golf team finished ninth out of 10 teams at the Rochester Mayo Invite Wednesday.

The Packers finished with a score of 370 and Eagan won the meet with a 318.

Austin’s James Snee shot an 85 and Ethan Morey had an 87.

“There’s some promise. There’s just some blowout holes that happen,” Austin head coach Matt Raso said. “James and Ethan are close, but they make some mental mistakes. It’s a matter of time before they have a good day with putter and pick up the short game.”
