STILLWATER — The last of five teens charged in the synthetic drug death of a Woodbury girl has pleaded guilty.

Eighteen-year-old Alistair Curtis Berg, of Woodbury, pleaded guilty Thursday to a drug charge. A third-degree murder charge was dismissed.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports Berg got a stayed prison sentence of one year and nine months. He’ll have to serve 12 weekends in custody, and complete 150 hours of community service and counseling.

Berg admitted selling three doses of the synthetic drug 25i-NBOMe to another man who then sold them to 17-year-old Tara Fitzgerald, who died Jan. 11, 2014. They believed the drug was LSD.

Prosecutors say the drugs originated with 19-year-old Alexander Lee Clausen, of St. Cloud, who was sentenced in January to just over six years in prison.
