MINNETONKA — Authorities say a Minnetonka man is in critical condition after being shot by his 15-year-old son.

Police officers and firefighters responded to reports of an explosion at a home Monday evening. When first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered a man had been shot in the face. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
