Helen Santrizos, 102, of Rochester, Minnesota, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Shorewood Assisted Living in Rochester.

Helen Trihas was born Jan. 11, 1913, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John George and Mary (Andrews) Trihas. She graduated from high school and attended college before she was married to Peter Santrizos. Helen was a longtime resident of Austin, Minnesota, before moving to Rochester. She was a member of the Holy Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter and daughter Deanna Kolas.

Helen is survived by her grandchildren: Aristos and Penny Kolas, Rochester, Minnesota, Peter Kolas, Rochester, Minnesota, Sam and Gina Kolas, Rochester, Minnesota; great-grandchildren: Deanna Kolas, Theoni Kolas, Alexandra Kolas and Nicholas Kolas; son-in-law and wife, Nicholas A. and Ann Kolas, Rochester, Minnesota; step-grandchildren: Philip Kolas and Antonia Kolas; sister, Catherine Boyar, Belmont, California; niece, Connie Boyar Frenzel, Los Altos, California; cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 23, at Holy Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, Rochester, with Father Mark Munoz officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
