A former Austin student is on tour with the Concordia University Chapel Choir.

Dominic Hillberg, son of Sandra Beardena, is a junior and bass in the choir. He is headed across Minnesota as the choir tours through Granite Falls, Rochester and Columbia Heights. The choir will perform works by Leland Sateren, Charles Stanford, Knut Nystedt, René Clausen, Jake Runestad, Moses Hogan and others. This year’s program will include two love songs by Eric Barnum and David Childs, and an eclectic mass.

A blend of more than 100 voices creates the sound of the Concordia Chapel Choir. Originally created to enrich the music of Concordia’s morning chapel services, the ensemble now performs in concert and tours annually.
