Firefighters put out house fire

No one was injured in a Lyle house fire that took place around 4:20 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Lyle Fire Chief Dan Frank said firefighters spent two hours battling flames on the outside of the house, at the 700 block of Second Street.

There’s no total damage estimate yet and Frank said the cause of the fire remains unknown for now.
