CLOQUET — A northeast Minnesota woman has been sentenced to nearly 10 years in jail for shooting her estranged husband in his sauna.

Marie Majerle of Cloquet pleaded guilty to first-degree assault in the January 2013 shooting of Richard Majerle. WDIO-TV reports she was sentenced Thursday to nine years and nine months in jail.
