Southland boys basketball team knocks off MSAD

The No. 7 seeded Southland boys basketball team knocked off No. 10 Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf (13-7 overall) 74-52 in a Section 1A West play-in game in Adams Tuesday.

James Landherr had 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go with four assists for the Rebels (8-19 overall).

Southland will play at No. 2 Blooming Prairie Thursday at 7 p.m. in a Section 1A West quarterfinal game.
