The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team beat Spring Grove (10-6 overall, 10-2 SEC) 72-39 on the road Thursday.

The win puts the Athletics (14-2 overall, 13-0 SEC) in the driver’s seat in the SEC West and SEC race.

Sarah Holtz had 24 points for LP, which has now won 40 straight SEC games, and Brooke Walter had 19 points.
