The Hayfield girls basketball team locked down on the defensive end of the court as they beat Goodhue (8-3 overall, 4-2 HVL) 45-33 in Hayfield Tuesday.

The Vikings (9-3 overall, 4-1 HVL) struggled on the boards when they lost 51-38 to Goodhue Dec. 23, but this time they had a 21-17 rebounding advantage.
