The Hayfield boys basketball team hit a slump down the stretch as it lost 60-50 to No. 6 ranked Lake City (14-0 overall, 10-0 HVL) in Hayfield Friday.

The Vikings (6-10 overall, 4-7 HVL) led 42-39 with 11 minutes left in the game and it was tied 48-48 with with six minutes left in the game, but the Vikings had just two points from that point on.

“We struggled down the stretch,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.
