Autopsy: Apple Valley deaths were murder-suicide

APPLE VALLEY — Autopsy results confirm the deaths of two adults and one child in Apple Valley were the result of a murder-suicide.

Twenty-nine-year-old David Crowley, his wife, 28-year-old Komel Crowley, and their 5-year-old daughter Ranita, were found dead Saturday in their Apple Valley home.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says all three died of a gunshot wound to the head. Ranita and Komel Crowley’s deaths were ruled homicides, while David Crowley’s death was ruled a suicide.
