The Austin gymnastics team beat Red Wing 139.7-123.575 in the Austin YMCA Thursday.

Maddie Mullenbach took first in the all-around, floor, beam and bars for the Packers and Logan Tischer took first in the vault.

Austin was competing without Carolyn Hackel, who is still out with a foot injury, and Jennifer Boyle was limited as well.

“The girls did a good job,” Austin head coach Alex Bade said. “We’re a little sloppy in some places, and it’s going to take more reps. Some girls had to step up and they did a good job of doing that.”
