Stejskal’s early TD strikes lead GM past Wolverines

The Grand Meadow football team opened up the postseason with a passing attack as they knocked off No. 8 Glenville-Emmons (0-9 overall) 51-0 in a Section 1 nine-man quarterfinal Grand Meadow Tuesday.

Michael Stejskal threw three TDs in the first five minutes of the game and the Larks led 45-0 at the half. Stejskal hit Landon Jacobson for a 48-yard TD strike, he found Cody Ojulu for a 29-yard TD pass and he hit Jacobson for a 16-yard TD to make it 19-0 with 7:20 left in the first quarter.

The Superlarks (9-0 overall) held GE to 112 yards of offense and the Larks had 402 total yards.

GM will host No. 4 Lanesboro in the Section 1 nine-man semifinals Saturday at 7 p.m.
