Teen pleads not guilty to sexually touching boy

A 19-year-old accused of exchanging nude photos with a boy and inappropriately touching him at a Udolpho Township home pleaded not guilty Thursday in Mower County District Court.

Courtney Waters, of Sergeant, is charged with second degree criminal sexual conduct and distributing electronic communications concerning sexual conduct to a child. Both charges are felonies.

According to a criminal complaint, the victim’s parents discovered graphic photos on the victim’s iPod and graphic texts on the victim’s phone, according to the complaint.

Deputies arrested Waters at a relative’s home in Dodge County. Waters initially denied sending the victim photos and messages, but later allegedly admitted she sent them because she was not on her medication. She also allegedly admitted to inappropriately touching the victim.

Her next court appearance is Jan. 23.
