A rural Rose Creek man is missing more than $11,000 in riding lawn mowers, air compressor equipment and other materials.

Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May said the man reported a burglary at his storage shed at the 18000 block of 575th Avenue after he checked the shed Sunday morning.

Among the items reported stolen are a 2012 John Deer X540 valued at $7,000 and a 2012 John Deere Z445 valued at $4,400. Both riding lawn mowers have a 27-horsepower engine and a 54-inch deck. Also missing is a Huskie 30-gallon air compressor, a Baasch 30-gallon air compressor, a Lincoln welder and a 2012 5-foot by 8-foot trailer, with a serial number of ADED868. About 30 to 40 large tote containers were taken as well, though May said the victim hasn’t yet tallied the items inside the totes.
