Lenore Sigrid Hagstrom, 85, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Wildwood Cove Assisted Living in LeRoy.

She was born June 24, 1929, to George and Sigrid “Sarah” (Jess) Benedict in San Francisco Township, Carver County, Minnesota.  She worked as a nursing assistant until she retired.  Lenore liked to knit, sew, do crossword puzzles and read.

Survivors include four daughters, Stephanie Boone of Hastings, Minnesota, Valerie Riley of St. Paul Park, Minnesota, Leslie Krooning of North St. Paul, Minnesota, and Kelley Huggan of Austin, Minnesota; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Neil Benedict of St. Paul, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracey Hagstrom; her parents; husbands, LeRoy LaCroix, Emarold Richard and Leonard Hagstrom; seven siblings.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin with the Rev. Dr. Stephen DeFor officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
