Austin police are looking for suspects who allegedly set a fire near the Mower County Fairground grandstand Sunday night.

Police Chief Brian Krueger said officers were called to the scene at about 8 p.m. Sunday after someone reported a fire near the grandstand. The Austin Fire Department put out flames in a nearby pile of rubble and appliances.

Firefighters believe the fire was intentionally started using sticks and kindling inside a small refrigerator, which was consumed by flames, according to Krueger.
