A great part of this community is The Hormel Institute. They are doing and accomplishing great thing there. Sometimes things that we don’t even realize.
At 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Mower County Senior Center, The Hormel Institute’s Tim Ruzek, communications representative, will present on the Institute’s major expansion to be completed in 2015 and its latest cutting-edge discoveries focused on the prevention and control of cancer.

Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and a sandwich for 50 cents. Tuesday we will be having chicken broccoli bake in the coffee shop starting at 11:30 a.m. for $2. You are always welcome at the center.
