Packer boys take fifth at Section 1A ‘true team’ track and field meet

The Austin boys track and field team took fifth in the 10-team Section 1AA ‘true team’ meet in Winona Tuesday.

The Packers totaled a team score of 402 and Plainview-Elgin-Millville won the meet with a 499.

Austin’s 4 x 200-meter relay team of Zach Coffey, Gabe Gerstner, Tyler Olson and Conner Sheehan took first, Andrew Baker was second in the 800-meter and 1600-meter runs and Andrew Hagan was second in discus and shot put.

GMLOS finished 10th with a 151.
