The Hayfield softball team lost 13-1 to Kasson-Mantorville (18-0 overall) in Hayfield Tuesday.

Hayfield eighth grader Kyal Heydt hit her first career home run to tie the game at 1-1 in the third inning, but the Vikings (12-3 overall) committed seven errors in the game and the KoMets pulled away.
