Habitat for Humanity held a home dedication ceremony for first-time homeowners Efrem and Freweini Berhe on Jan. 26.

Many friends and family, Habitat for Humanity staff, volunteers, board members, and fellow Habitat for Humanity homeowners attended to offer support and congratulations.

During the ceremony, Efrem spoke about the family’s positive experiences partnering with Habitat for Humanity. He said experience has encouraged him to continue nursing school, and he expressed his excitement for his family to help Habitat carry out its mission to offer the same opportunity to other families in Mower and Freeborn Counties.
