Get to know: Austin senior hockey player Tony Baudler

Q: How did you originally get into your sport?

A: My parents got me skating when I was very little and at the age of 5 I started hockey.

A: There are many, but one that sticks out is beating Mayo for the first time in nine years on senior night in overtime.

Q: What have you learned from playing sports?

A: I’ve learned the importance of hard work, perseverance and friendship.

Q: What is the hardest part about your sport?

A: It would be to keep giving your all and being positive during rough times.

Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?

A: Adrian Peterson and Jared Allen because of their energy and work ethic that they put into their sport.

Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?

A: I love watching sports.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Math and government.

Q: What is your dream job?

A: To be a lawyer.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Any kind of pasta.
