Late scoring blitz puts Bruins past Wings

The Austin Bruins finished with a scoring frenzy as they beat Aberdeen (7-3-1 overall) 4-1 on the road Friday.

Austin (9-1 overall) scored three goals in the last four-and-a-half minutes as Sam Kauppila started the rally with a shorthanded goal with 4:32 left in the game. Lucas Kohls added another goal two minutes later, and Josh Bretner scored his second goal of the night on an empty-netter to close the win.

Nicholas Lehr, who is now 8-1 with a save percentage of 94.4, was outstanding in the net for Austin as he stopped 40 shots.
