Ellis Middle School is participating in National Bullying Prevention Month by planning various events and activities.

Next week, Ellis will hang an all-school pledge banner to prevent bullying, which will be seen during parent-teacher conferences. There will also be educational materials about bullying for parents.

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, everyone is encouraged to wear orange in support of bullying prevention, and advisories will show anti-bullying videos and hold classroom discussions during that week.

A speaker will talk with Ellis students on Monday, Oct. 30, and on Tuesday, Oct. 31, students will hear a special final announcement to wrap up the month’s activities.
