Austin volleyball team falls to Rochester JM

The Austin volleyball team lost its final match of the regular season by scores of 25-9, 25-22, 25-15 at Rochester John Marshall (6-17 overall, 2-6 Big Nine) Tuesday.

The Packers (3-22 overall, 0-9 Big Nine) will open Section 1AAA tournament play next Wednesday night.

Austin freshman Amber Hansen had three kills against the Rockets.

“Amber did a very nice job tonight,” Austin head coach Cindy Owen said. “We played for awhile with just one senior on the floor so we got a look at what the team will look like next year.”
