Bollingberg scores 5 TDs as Athletics roll past Glenville-Emmons

LYLE —The Lyle-Pacelli football team surged to an early lead and held on to beat Glenville-Emmons (0-2 overall, 0-2 SEC) 56-34 in Lyle Friday night.

Sophomore running back Daniel Bollingberg ran for 219 yards and five TDs for LP (1-1 overall, 1-1 SEC) as the Athletics held a 42-14 lead at the break.

“We came out and we played well,” LP head coach Reid Olson said. “Our kids were really fired up and we were excited about the opportunity to play well. We took advantage of some mismatches and we executed.”
