Austin Police have recovered a vehicle that was reportedly stolen between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Officers found the green 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix in Mapleview on Tuesday morning and returned it to the owner. The owner reported the car missing at 2:40 a.m. Sunday after it was left unlocked with the keys inside of it, which made it at least the fifth unlocked car stolen in Austin during August.
