An Austin homeowner is missing a laptop computer after someone allegedly broke into the victim’s house over the weekend.

Police went to the 800 block of 10th Ave. SW at about 2:40 p.m. Saturday where the victim said the alleged burglary must have happened between 11:50 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The house was locked; however, police discovered someone removed a screen from a basement window to gain entry.

The investigation is ongoing.
