YORK, PENN. — Austin grad Mike Wuertz is out of the Major Leagues this summer but he is still pitching.

Wuertz is pitching for the York Revolution, who are based out of York, Pennsylvania and play in the Atlantic League.

In 29 games, Wuertz has pitched 27 innings with an ERA of 2.33. He is 3-1 with two saves and struck out 38, while allowing 18 hits and 11 walks.

Wuertz, who is 35 years old, pitched in the MLB for eight seasons with Chicago Cubs and Oakland A’s.

Wuertz had a record of 21-11 and an ERA of 3.71 in his MLB career.
