The Hayfield softball team kept its season alive with a 6-4 win over Randolph in the Section 1A West elimination round in Todd Park Friday.

Now the Vikings have their season hanging in the balance as they were tied at 4-4 in the sixth inning with Kenyon-Wanamingo in the sixth inning and that game was scheduled to be finished Saturday at 11 a.m. in Todd Park.

Rachel Masching hit had a double and a triple against Randolph and she hit an inside the park home run to tie the game at 4-4 in the sixth against Kenyon-Wanamingo.

Grace Mindrup had a two-run double against Randolph.
