Memorial weekend weather: Storms, rain and cloudy weather return to area

  • Today: Sunny, with a high near 67. Light east wind becoming south 8 to 13 mph in the morning.
  • Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 3am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 50. South wind 11 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
  • Saturday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 1 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. High near 56. Breezy, with a southeast wind 13 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
  • Saturday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 49. Southeast wind around 14 mph.

  • Memorial Day: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a high near 69. Southeast wind 11 to 14 mph.
  • Monday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy, with a low around 61. Southeast wind 10 to 13 mph.
