The Lyle-Pacelli boys golfers were one stroke from knocking off the top team in the Southeast Conference, but they fell short 189-190 in Meadow Greens Friday.

LP’s Thomas Marx shot a career-best score of 40 as he was meet medalist for the Athletics (4-3 SEC).

The LP girls lost with an incomplete score, compared to Houston’s 274.
