GRADUATION

—Two Austin residents have graduated with Ph.D.s from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Sherry Sue Chesak got her doctor of philosophy from the College of Nursing, while Jessica Lynn Milli got her doctor of philosophy from the College of Letters and Science.

—Adams resident Daniel Schneider graduated from Minnesota State College–Southeast Technical with a degree in carpentry.

—Air Force airman Ann M. Heickley of Austin graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Heickley is a 2012 graduate of Cochrane-Fountain City High School.
