Donovan Lucas of North Oaks, Minn., formerly on Austin and Lanesboro, died May 22, 2013, in North Oaks.

He was born near Ceylon, Minn., on Nov. 24, 1926. Donovan was a 37-year employee of Hormel Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Doris and brother, James. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy; daughters, Jennifer (Larry), Cynthia (Steve) and Laurie (Rick); sister, Jean Thomas; brother-in-law, Cliff Peterson (Deanna); grandchildren, Natalie, Cara, Rose and Peter and Jason and Marcus.

Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 24 at Waverly Gardens, 5919 Centerville Road, North Oaks. Another service will be in July at the Lanesboro United Methodist Church.

Memorials are preferred to Gillette Children’s Specialty Hospital or donor’s choice.
