PINE ISLAND — The Hayfield softball team didn’t show any rust in their first outside action of the year as they topped Pine Island (0-1 overall) 13-9 on the road Tuesday.

Freshman Grace Mindrup with 3-for-5 with two triples, a double and four RBIs for the Vikings (1-0 overall).
