Francis L. Graves, 69, of Austin, Minn., died peacefully Monday evening, April 22, 2013, surrounded by his friends at his home. Francis battled cancer for just a few short months.

He was born Dec. 9, 1943, in Minneapolis to Frank and Isabel (Mittwer) Graves. He grew up in Austin, graduating from Austin High School in 1962. Frank was employed by UPS in Minneapolis for more than 30 years. He enjoyed going to car shows and visiting people everywhere. He was very witty; a great jokester. He especially loved his cat, Cali. Frank was also a good neighbor, shoveling snow and raking lawns for those that lived around him.

Survivors include his fiancée, Barbara Hofius of Austin; special friends Brian McAlister, Glen and Cheryl Gullickson, and Gary Christiansen, all of Austin; many other special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Isabel Graves.
